
Eggs in a Nest
This quick, fun breakfast is a specialty of our oldest, Sadie.
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- 4 slices favorite sandwich bread
- 4 farm fresh eggs optional 2 eggs per serving
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Assemble your ingredients.
- Butter your pan and place over medium heat on the stove. Use a jar or cookie cutter to cut a piece out of the middle of the bread.
- Give those eggs some love.
- Crack an egg into the hole in the bread.
- Flip the toast when the egg has reached a solid enough state.
- Plate and serve with some jelly on the toasted round, if desired.
