One of the effects of Jessica’s health issues is a sensitivity to the additives which go into mass produced wines which standardize the resulting taste. Fortunately for us (and for you, dear reader) producing preservative free wine and other potables at home is not complicated. In coming posts, we’ll walk you through how to put your extra fruit and herbal bounty to good use in producing all natural alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at home. We’ll also introduce some of what we’ve discovered by trial and error and intensive “research” regarding the health hazards of what passes for wine in our culture. We aren’t wine snobs but we do value clean products entering our food stream!

We look forward to sharing our expanding experience with wild-craft herbal teas (and stronger brews).
